Compensation

Base Wage: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on position, experience, and qualifications)

In addition to the base wage, successful candidates will receive:
• $250 signing bonus, $250 retention bonus once completing your contract in good standing
• Gratuities

Position Overview

Crowsnest Pass Golf & Country Club is seeking motivated Back of House team members for the upcoming golf season. Opportunities are available for both Lead Line Cook and Line Cook positions.

Our kitchen team is responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, supporting daily restaurant operations, and delivering exceptional food service during tournaments, events, weddings, and regular clubhouse operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering consistent food quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Line Cook
• Minimum 2–3 years of kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong food preparation and organizational skills
• Food Safety Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Lead Line Cook
• Minimum 2–3 years of kitchen experience required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience considered an asset
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Food Safety Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Chef de Cuisine / Kitchen Manager

Crowsnest Pass Golf Club is seeking a strong, hands-on Chef de Cuisine / Kitchen Manager to help lead daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role is ideal for an experienced kitchen leader who enjoys working alongside their team, building strong systems, mentoring staff, and delivering consistent, high-quality food execution.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to strengthen operations while supporting an enjoyable and professional workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations & Food Execution
  • Lead daily kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, presentation, and efficiency
  • Work hands-on during service periods and assist during peak operations
  • Ensure recipes, plating standards, prep expectations, and portion controls are consistently followed
  • Assist with developing seasonal features and menu ideas
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and kitchen workflow efficiency
Team Leadership & Staff Development
  • Lead, coach, and support back-of-house staff
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling input, and performance management
  • Build strong kitchen routines, accountability, and teamwork
  • Support the development of reliable line leadership and training systems
Systems, Safety & Compliance
  • Execute prep systems, inventory counts, and portion controls
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and Alberta health regulations
  • Support kitchen organization, consistency, and operational standards
  • Assist with implementing written procedures and staff training systems
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to align kitchen execution with operational goals, staffing levels, seasonal business demands, and guest expectations
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house leadership to support smooth service operations

Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience preferred, minimum 2-3 years experience.
  • Strong food execution and line experience
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Food Safe certification considered an asset

Turf Care (Grounds Maintenance)

Crowsnest Pass Golf Club is seeking Turf Care team members for the golf season. Positions include Turf Grounds Laborer.

This role is responsible for assisting with the daily maintenance of the golf course, including mowing, course setup, and general groundskeeping duties to ensure high-quality playing conditions.

The ideal candidate is reliable, works well independently and in a team, and is comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience an asset, will train the right candidate
  • Landscaping or turf maintenance experience considered an asset
  • Ability to perform physical outdoor work

Wages: $15.00 – $17.50/hour (depending on experience)

Pro Shop & Golf Operations

Crowsnest Pass Golf Club is seeking team members for Pro Shop & Golf Operations. Positions include Pro Shop Assistant & Back Shop Employee.

These roles are responsible for delivering excellent guest service while supporting golf operations. Duties may include checking in golfers, managing tee times, retail sales, monitoring pace of play, assisting with carts and equipment, and ensuring a positive guest experience on and off the course.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous golf or customer service experience considered an asset
  • POS experience an asset (Pro Shop)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Wages: $15.00 – $18.00/hour (depending on role & experience)
