Position Overview
- We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Turf Greenskeeper to assist with daily routine procedures required to maintain the Crowsnest Pass Golf Course and surrounding grounds during our operating golf season.This is a seasonal position with both part-time & full-time positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cutting of greens, tees, fairways and surrounding areas.
- General daily maintenance duties such as filling in divots, raking bunkers, changing pins and other related duties.
Qualifications & Skills:
- No previous experience required.
- Capacity to work early mornings outdoors, with the possibility of moderate physical activity.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Head Waiter
- Location: Crowsnest Pass Golf Club, Blairmore, Alberta
- Reports to: Restaurant Manager / Food & Beverage Manager
- Position Type: Full-Time / Seasonal
Position Summary:
We are seeking a professional, service-focused Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house team and deliver an exceptional dining experience in our relaxed yet refined mountain setting. The Head Waiter plays a key role in upholding service standards, training staff, and ensuring a well-organized and welcoming dining room. A successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Dining Room Management
- Deliver a consistently high standard of guest service that aligns with our club’s commitment to excellence.
- Anticipate guest needs and address concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Oversee the dining room during service, ensuring seamless flow and an exceptional atmosphere.
- Monitor table setups, cleanliness, and presentation standards throughout all meal periods.
Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the front-of-house team with a focus on service excellence and professionalism.
- Train new servers and support ongoing development for all FOH staff, including etiquette, menu knowledge, upselling, and timing.
- Set the tone for service style, pacing, and member/guest engagement.
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings to communicate service goals, menu features, and special considerations.
Operations & Communication
- Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to ensure clear and timely communication throughout service.
- Assist in staff scheduling, floor planning, and shift assignments.
- Address guest feedback and report service concerns to management.
- Support event service and special functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a high-level dining or resort setting.
- Previous supervisory or training experience in a front-of-house role.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- A commitment to delivering warm, attentive, and professional service.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
- Smart Serve or ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain).
